Film is Still King (Olympus 35RC + Kodak Tri-X 400)

Hi everyone. Although I mainly shoot digital, I always have at least one film camera on me at all times. Currently, that camera is the legendary Nikon FM3A (google it), however I have't ran a full roll through it yet.

So anyway. Here are a selection of shots from some rolls of film I got processed recently.

  1. Although this is maybe the first of your 35mm posts (for this blog), I am already impressed. Some of them are pin sharp with little evident grain.

I can tell that you have got closer to the subjects with your more recent posts though. I guess these are street scenes more than portraits.

btw... do you scan your own negs? I am wondering what scanner to get. I have been given some terrible digital conversions from some labs. I want to be able to tweak and scan as many times as I like to get it right.
