London on film - Ilford HP5 Plus @ ISO1600 (03/04/2013)

What a pleasant Easter Break, and I certainly needed in order to recharge my batteries.

Today's post is a bitter-sweet one, as It's the end of my Neopan 1600 photos, but the start of my HP5 Plus. Luckily when HP5 is pushed to ISO 1600 and processes in Microphen, it produces a look consistent with Neopan 1600.

Have a look and tell me what you think and which you prefer. All photos shot on the Ricoh GR1v and Ilford HP5 Plus, pushed to ISO 1600 and processed in Microphen stock solution:

London on film - Neopan 1600 @ ISO1600 (30/03/2013)

Here's a pub themed London on film. The shenanigans that people get up to on a Friday night after work cannot be summed up in words, so here are a few photos instead.

All photos shot with the GR1v on Fujifim Neopan 1600 at ISO 1600 and developed in Ilford Microphen stock solution:

London on film - Neopan 1600 @ ISO1600 (04/03/2013)

Good morning world...

Another blog post from the wonderful parallel reality which is London. A place where it's almost socially acceptable to get rat faced and sexually harass, or racially abuse your fellow citizens on a night out, but it's frowned upon to document these drunken shenanigans with the obscene weapon which is my camera..

Undeterred and more determined than ever, here are my the latest photos. All shot with the GR1v on Fujifim Neopan 1600 shot at ISO 1600 and developed in Ilford Microphen stock solution:

London on film - Neopan 1600 @ ISO1600 (01/03/2013)

I don't know if you regular viewers will notice a theme start to emerge from the next few posts or not, but I've started to shoot at night with flash. Nothing new about that really... but I've been doing it while drinking.
I always say that my photography is better when I'm drunk, well I'm starting to think it really is. Even if the photos aren't better (that's subjective after all), it's certainly more fun.

Anyway, Here are some shots taken with the GR1v on Fujifim Neopan 1600 shot at ISO 1600 and developed in Ilford Microphen stock solution:
