The Daily Commute (30/03/2012)

Friday has finally arrived and the weekend is almost upon us. What a lovely sunny week it's been in London. It's too bad it won't last into the weekend.

Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed the Budapest Street Photography set which I posted last week, sponsored by the Hungarian Tourist Board (only joking).

Here are some shots of the Daily Commute to tie you over until the weekend:

Happy first day of spring/Persian new year/Nourooz to everyone.
What a lovely weekend I had in sunny Budapest.

The Daily Commute (15/03/2012)

It's been an interesting couple of days. Earlier this week I met some fellow London street photographers and also the now borderline internet celebrity  and LA "Streettog", Eric Kim. I also again met my personal favourite, Charlie Kirk (aka Twocutedogs).
Since then I've been struck by a nasty cold and today I'm off to Budapest for the next few days.

Here are some Daily Commute shots.

Hey folks...
First post of the week, and I'm going to start with some photos which have been lying around neglected! Mind you there's a good reason for them being neglected!!

Night Time Street with Flash (10/03/2012)

So I went out again on Friday night and shot some more with flash and I'm really starting to enjoy it.
I think it's allowing me to discover a new side to my street work and helping me develop as a photographer.

Here are the shots, taken on the GF3 + 14mm f/2.5 + Onboard flash:

Night Time Street with Flash (09/03/2012)

I went out for a second round of night time street photography with flash, mostly to see how I feel about working with flash. I'm aware that I would achieve better shots with an off camera flash, however this experiment is to see how comfortable I feel about "flashing" people (oh dear, that just sounds wrong) and what their reaction would be like.
I found that most people don't notice or don't realise that I was taking a photo of them and assume that I was snapping something else. I did get the odd glare or "WTF" look here and there but nothing too alarming.

Here are a few of the better shots. Shot with the GF3 and onboard flash + 14mm f/2.5:

The Daily Commute (04/03/2012)

It's end of the week, and what a great week it's been.
As you may know I was featured on Peter Thomson's London Street Photo. However the highlight of the week was probably meeting Charlie Kirk (aka twocutedogs) briefly. This dude has such a genuine aura in his work, it's quite refreshing. He's also a huge creative influence on me.

Anyways. A few shots from the past week; GF3 + 14mm f/2.5:

Enjoy your weekend.

Interview on London Street Photo

Hello dear viewers,

I'm happy to announce that London street photographer Peter Thomson has featured an interview with me on his blog, London Street Photo.

His site is a Micro Four-Thirds orientated street photography blog which features interviews with guest photographers and extremely helpful reviews of Micro Four-Third cameras and equipment aimed at street photographers.

The interview is split into two parts. The first part can now be seen here
I explain my lens choice and the way I interact with my subjects and other general questions about my style of photography.
